Philadelphia Flyers Go Up in Series 3-1

The Flyers have beaten the Devils by a score of 4-1 to go up in the playoff series 3 games to 1. The Devils scored twelve minutes into the game to make it 1-0. The Flyers came out in the second period “skating” on all cylinders. After two periods the Flyers were up by a score of 2-1, with goals scored by Jeff Carter and Danny Briere.  The Flyers took advantage of multiple power-plays in the second period, which tired the Devils. Jeff Carter scored his second goal of the game, along with Daniel Carcillo, who had the game winning goal in Overtime on Sunday night. The final score was 4-1. Next game is on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. (Eastern Time), in New Jersey, where the Flyers can finish up their series and move on to the second round.

I never thought the Flyers would play this well. Considering how they barely got into the playoffs. But, all things considered, the Flyers seem to playing with passion at both ends of the ice. If the Flyers continue to play at such a high level, they will surprise a lot of people, including a lot of Philadelphia fans.
